Figured I’d continue the sandwich/sub theme this week and try this recipe by @wwpounddropper. I already had most of the ingredients in the house, so it made for an easy, low point dinner, that everyone enjoyed!⁣

1 lb 99% FF ground turkey⁣ (can use lean ground beef but this will add points)⁣
1/2 med onion, diced⁣⁣
1 green pepper, diced⁣ (or use 4 stalks celery)⁣
1 tbsp minced garlic⁣⁣
1 tbsp swerve brown sugar⁣⁣
1 tsp chili powder⁣⁣
3/4 c no sugar added ketchup⁣⁣
1/2 tsp dry mustard⁣⁣
1/2 c water⁣⁣
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes⁣⁣
Salt & pepper⁣⁣
1/2 tbsp Worcestershire ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Add ground turkey to a sprayed skillet on the stove and cook. Add onion, green pepper, and garlic. Cook until veggies soften. Add ketchup, water, brown sugar, chili powder, dry mustard, and red pepper flakes and stir to combine. Simmer for 15 mins, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add Worcestershire. Let simmer for another 5 mins and you’re ready to serve! 😍⁣

I toasted four 647 hot dog buns and piled the meat mixture on for just 3 points each! 2 for the bun, and 1 for the meat 💙💙 ⁣

I served with multicolored cauli and air fried potatoes – just cut up a potato into thin slices, spray, season with seasoning salt, and air fry at 40 for about 20 mins, shaking every 5ish minutes. This added another 2 points to make dinner 5 points total! ⁣
